Off The Page Autumn 2021 (Afternoon session)
Fancy reading a great play in the company of others from the comfort of your own home? If so, grab a coffee and join us on Wednesday afternoons on Zoom as we read and discuss two brilliant one act plays - Go On by Linda McLean and Metaverse by Hannah Khalil.
No advance reading is required – enjoy finding out what happens each week!
These sociable online sessions are a digital alternative to our normal weekly play-reading workshops and are aimed at older adults.
Metaverse by Hannah Khalil
Please make sure you have a copy of Metaverse in advance of the first session. The play is part of National Theatre of Scotland's trilogy Interference, which can be bought from a range of online stores including National Theatre of Scotland, Bloomsbury and Amazon. You don't need to purchase Go On.
What will I need?
To access the sessions all you need is a smartphone, tablet or laptop and an application called Zoom which you can download for free. Don’t worry if you’ve not used Zoom before, we have a step-by-step guide and we are very happy to talk you through it.
How do I sign up?
Just click the book now button! There are a limited number of places so advance booking is recommended. Your booking will require an email address. We will use that email address to get in touch before the start date with more information and instructions on how to access the weekly sessions.
