Join journalist Misha Glenny in conversation with broadcaster Kirsty Lang to find out more about this allegorical story set at the end of the Stalinist regime in Russia in the 1950s.
Misha’s father Michael Glenny created the English translation of Georgi Vladimov’s novel upon which this new stage adaptation is based. Faithful Ruslan was amongst Glenny’s favourite of the many works that he translated over 20 years, introducing new Russian writers to English-speaking audiences.
