A Christmas Carol
THIS PRODUCTION TAKES PLACE AT TRAMWAY (25 ALBERT DRIVE, G41 2PE)
Ebenezer Scrooge is a notoriously bitter old man who is determined not to let Christmas interfere with his miserly routine. A feared figure throughout the streets of London he is unmoved by any pleas for charity. But one Christmas Eve, Scrooge receives some unexpected supernatural visitors who are determined to show him the error of his ways.
This bold, theatrical adaptation captures the original heart of Charles Dickens’ beloved tale. The 5-star production was a sell out in 2014 and enchanted families and adults alike. They loved the inventive storytelling, atmospheric set design and live music. We think you will too.
A Christmas Carol will be presented at Tramway. We’ll be refreshing our production for the new performance space, and you can still expect the same distinctive style and captivating storytelling that makes Citizens’ Christmas shows so special.
A Christmas Carol will warm even the coldest of hearts and leave all rejoicing in the Christmas spirit this winter!
A Christmas Carol will be presented at Tramway whilst the Citizens Theatre building undergoes an exciting two year redevelopment. For details on how to get to Tramway click here.
