Highlights
Tales from the Island of Night
The Friday Club have created an imaginary world called the Island of Night. In spring 2021 they returned to the Island and made a short film, which tells a traditional, mythical tale exploring the islanders' relationship to their landscape. This film was created while the group were meeting online.
Citizens Ghost
The Friday Club made their first film Citizens Ghost, set in and around the atmospheric Citizens Theatre. The group explored the idea of who this fantastic building belonged to, the audiences and the people who work there (in Wardrobe, the paint frame, rehearsal rooms etc) or the ghosts who haunt the building. This a great opportunity for the group to have a lot of fun, create new characters and learn new skills.
