Classes and regular groups
Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic we have continued to run several classes online and have gradually returned to in-person sessions where possible. This will be indicated within the information on each group. Some activities won’t return until the redeveloped Citizens Theatre building opens.
Care experienced theatre ensemble
An exciting and innovative theatre company for care-experienced young adults aged 18-26. The company recently staged The Dodo Experiment, a dystopian thriller about a group of aspiring actors trapped in a dark social experiment.
The Community Collective is a drop-in group of supportive people who share an interest in theatre. Community Collective has returned to meeting in person.
Drama classes for learning disabled people aged 18 years and over. Friday Club meet virtually and have started to return face to face.
A fun and informal introduction to acting skills for adults who want to try their hand at performing. Nightschool is not running right now. It will resume with the re-opening of the Citizens Theatre.
Off the Page
Sociable, weekly play-reading sessions online for older adults. Off The Page members to meet in two groups, virtually and in person.
Drama classes and summer courses for young people aged 14 - 18 with a learning disability. Saturday Citizens have returned to meeting in person.
