The Tailor of Inverness

Visiting Company

ARCHIVE

Dogstar Theatre Company present a beautifully realised tale about the reality of survival in war-torn Eastern Europe.

Matthew Zajac’s moving play about his Polish father traces his life from the boyhood years spent on a farm in Galicia to carving out a career as a tailor in the Highland capital. This one-man show is a touching personal story and an analysis of how history shapes us into the people we are.

An international hit in 2008-9, it won a plethora of awards including a Fringe First, Best Actor Award at Critics Awards for Theatre in Scotland and The Stage Best Solo Performer award.

Catch this hit show as it is re-staged for two nights only in Glasgow.
