Take Part in a Community Opera
Citizens Theatre
Do you enjoy singing? In June, the Citizens Community Company and Scottish Opera join forces to present a brand new community opera called the Temptations of Tam, inspired by Stravinsky’s The Rakes Progress. We are looking for adults to take part.
A cast of 20 will perform their own take on Stravinsky’s opera which tracks the exploits of Tam Rakewell, whose quest for fortune ends with is descent into a world of temptation and debauchery.
The production will be accompanied by players from the orchestra of Scottish Opera.
We’d like you to take part in this exciting new opera at the Citizens Theatre.
WORKSHOP AUDITIONS
6.30pm–9pm
21 February and 23 February
at the Citizens Theatre
No preparation required, just a willingness to give things a go!
Decisions will be based on vocal and acting ability and you must attend BOTH workshop sessions

Will be held at the Citizens Theatre every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 17 April to the end of June
