Learn some great new games to play with your class. From focus activities to team-building games, you’ll leave this fun session armed with loads of great, failsafe and easy to do games to inspire your pupils.

NURSERY & P1 | BRINGING BOOKS AND STORIES TO LIFE
This session will help you make books and stories more fun and engaging for your younger pupils. We will explore role-play, teacher-in-role and other active learning techniques which you can use to bring story books to life.

SECONDARY | DIRECTING TECHNIQUES FOR DRAMA TEACHERS
Practical workshop sharing practice with Guy Hollands, exploring his approach to directing contemporary texts with reference to ‘Yellow Moon’ and ‘The Monster in the Hall’. This is a great opportunity to refresh your directing techniques.

This ever popular CPD returns with a host of new conventions for active learning across the curriculum in all subject areas. Come along with a topic specific to your class and let us use our drama techniques to help you teach it more effectively!
Each session runs 4-6pm in the Citizens Theatre and is absolutely FREE to teachers in the Glasgow City local authority.
