Community Company

A creative and supportive company for the whole community

Established in 1999 the Citizens Community Company is made up of around thirty permanent members aged from 22 to 80, from all walks of life; living, learning or working in Glasgow.

Members include those working part time, retired, at college, on benefits or in recovery.

The company is free to join and no previous theatre experience is required. The group brings people together of different abilities and backgrounds to develop new skills, grow confidence and ultimately take part in performance projects and productions.

“What the company has given me is a sense of pride,
confidence and just the feel good factor.”

Eddie Donoghue, Community Company member
