Inglefield Hostel

Working with Scottish singer-songwriter Carol Laula and film-maker Julie McCahill, Citizens Learning has returned to Inglefield Street Hostel on Glasgow’s Southside.
Following a drama project in 2009, our team are continuing work with the female residents of the hostel, using drama, music and song-writing as a positive tool to increase self-esteem and well-being.
The project will introduce the women to film-making and animation. By the end of the 12 week programme the group’s stories and songs will be incorporated into a short animated film which will be screened at the hostel in April and hopefully at the Citizens Theatre at a later date.
