The Citizens Theatre is recruiting for an Apprentice Producer. This is a 12-month vacancy supported by Stage One, a charity that supports new UK theatre producers.
The Apprentice Producer will work with the Citizens Theatre’s Artistic Director and Executive Director to deliver the programming of the theatre. You will gain experience of the producing process, including negotiation, liaison, contracting, tour-booking and budgeting. You will attend a wide range of work and meet artists on behalf of the Citizens Theatre to identify and help produce new projects and programmes of work to support the theatre’s artistic policy. The Apprentice Producer will have a minimum of one year’s experience of producing professional theatre, and will be self-motivated and proactive, capable of assisting or leading on the production of readings, platforms and workshops.
The Apprentice Producer will be mentored by Judith Kilvington, Executive Director, Joint Chief Executive.
