DEPUTY HEAD OF LIGHTING AND SOUND

We seek a Deputy Head of Lighting and Sound with a minimum of three years’ experience working in a theatre environment.  You will assist the Head of Lighting and Sound to manage the electrical department in delivering sound, lighting and video for project, productions and events. You will also be required to programme and operate lighting and sound for the Citizens Theatre across main stage, studio, learning, touring and visiting productions and projects.

Are you passionate about engaging audiences in the arts through powerful communications?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, tenacious and hard-working Marketing & Press Officer to lead on communications with the media to promote the theatre’s ambitious range of work and to deliver successful marketing campaigns for multiple shows and projects.

Our vision is to transform and enhance lives through performance and participation that everyone can access. The Marketing team are responsible for engaging a wide range of audiences and participants in the creative life of the theatre as part of that vision.

As the theatre continues to plan and fundraise for a £20.8 million building redevelopment, the Marketing & Press Officer will be crucial to the delivery of media engagement.

The successful individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have excellent communication skills to confidently promote the work of the theatre to a wide range of individuals.

This is a unique opportunity to work in one of Scotland’s leading producing theatres at an exciting time in its development.
